Monthly Giving Program

When VSC can count on the continued support of monthly donors, our clients can continue to count on us. Providing a sustainable gift to VSC that we can count on for future planning is invaluable for us to be able to expand our reach in the community.

When you join us as a monthly supporter with a minimum gift of $15 a month you will not only be providing Victim Service Center funding we can rely on, but you will receive a teal ribbon pin to honor your continued commitment to VSC. Join us today as a member of the Hope & Healing Circle you will be a hero to a victim in our community.

With statistics like 1 in 5 women and 1 in 33 men becoming victims in their lifetime, it’s not hard to see why. We all know someone who has been impacted by it and when faced with trauma and grief it can be hard to know how to support a loved one.

Join Victim Service Center in honoring the Survivors in our lives with our tribute program. For so many who have been the victims of sexual violence, just knowing they have the support of others in their lives makes all the difference to the healing process. Help support VSC through a $25 minimum contribution in honor/memorial of a Survivor in your life and we will send them a beautiful card acknowledging their bravery as Survivors and that you are a supporter in their life.

Victim Service Center will soon have an extensive planned giving program. If you would like to participate in this program, please contact Lui Damiani at (407) 254-9386 or marketing@VictimServiceCenter.org.

Are you a big Amazon shopper like we are? Your shopping can make a difference. Amazon donates to Victim Service Center of Central Florida Inc. when you shop www.Smile.Amazon.com. By shopping through the Smile web address Amazon donates 0.5% of eligible purchases to benefit VSC when you select us as your charity benefactor. This is an easy way to make a big difference to our organization all year long!

During their time at our forensic exam location, our dedicated team does everything possible to ensure each victim feels as comfortable and safe as possible. We provide brand new clothing and flip flops with tags to each victim to go home in because often the clothing they have is taken into evidence collection. We offer snacks and drinks because the exam can take awhile and we try to make the process as comforting as possible. Everyone is also afforded the opportunity to shower with new toiletries before leaving.

We also have added items that we would love to be able to use to enhance our office space, or services provided such as journals or books for our support groups.

To make it as easy, simple, and convenient, we have compiled a list of our top, current needs that you can easily purchase online.

When you are shopping for your loved ones, please keep the victims we serve in mind. Or if you’d like to host a donation drive of new items for VSC at your office, school or church please let us know. We’d be happy to come thank everyone and share additional information about the impact those items will have on the individuals we serve each day.

To coordinate the drop-off of donation items, please contact us at marketing@VictimServiceCenter.org.

  • Many companies offer matching donations to support the charities their employees support. Check with your Human Resources department to find out if your company will match your support to Victim Service Center.
  • Consider holding an office wide drive to gather new clothing items to be donated to VSC to be given to our clients after receiving crisis care.
  • Become a sponsor of Cheers to Change and receive exposure to thousands through marketing, and recognition the evening of the event.
  • Have VSC come to a staff meeting to present about our organization and make an appeal to your employees. This lets them know what resources are available to them, and helps VSC become exposed to new donors.
